Zong charged various packages in internet to attract their customer to use internet. Because when Zong network launched in Pakistan there were already 4 telecom network and jazz and ufone were at peak level. So it was very tough competition among these 5 networks. Every network introduced different offers to their customers. but they have already their default packages and they never changed it. Those users who don't know about different offers, they just use Zong Default Internet Package which is very costly and still this package is running by all networks.

Zong Default Internet Package is very costly as compared to its internet bundle offers and various packages. If we just compare it with zong daytime bundle offer of zong its cost is just 12 Rs for 12 hours in specific time, while zong default internet package is charging 18 Rupees per 1 Mb.

Which is very high because now a days zong launched 3G and 4G technology and if you open just one site you will consume one 1 Mb. Zong Default Internet Packages bundle will be activated after expiry of data bundle package, when user current data package expired and he do not have required amount in account or user already not activated any internet bundle offer then zong default internet package activated and 18 Rs per 1 Mb is charged from the users. The minimum charging pulse is 64 Kb which cost is 1.13 Rupees.

How to Activate Zong Default Internet Package

Zong default internet package means that it is already activated on all Sims and it does not need any activation code.

How to Check Zong Default Internet Package Usage

Zong default internet package usage can be check by calling or sending sms. But the most simple method is just Dialing  "*102#"  and you will receive a confirmation sms from zong.

• Withholding tax of 14% applies on recharge bill
• 19.5% Sales Tax is applicable on usage in Punjab, KPK & Baluchistan. 19% Sales Tax is applicable in Sindh. 18.5% FED is applicable in rest of Pakistan and AJK
• Data services are exempt in Punjab, Federal, AJK and Sindh up to 4 mbps. Data services are taxable in Sindh with speed greater than 4 mbps as well as in KPK and Baluchistan as per applicable rates.
